SUMMARY
SF2E downtime activities differ from PF2E primarily in:
- Speed: Creator capsules dramatically accelerate crafting
- Information: Infosphere provides rapid research with surveillance risks
- Cost: Formula access is cheap and widely available
- Technology: Equipment upgrades and repairs use tech materials (UPBs)
- Adaptability: Characters from PF2E need time to learn new skills (Computers, Piloting)
The post-scarcity setting enables more efficient downtime use while introducing new risks (digital surveillance) and opportunities (rapid prototyping, vast information networks).
